Offering home visits, I offer Clinical Canine Massage in the comfort of your own home.
I am a proud member of the Canine Massage Guild. I have trained for 2 years with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre Ltd where I completed over 1200 hours of learning. I use the 4 disciplines of massage - Swedish massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage and myofascial release. I also use the clinically trialled Lenton Method which is a set of myofascial releases.
This unique, strong, manipulative Clinical Massage for dogs works by releasing tight, sore muscles, removing debilitating ‘Knots’ or Trigger Points that cause referred pain and helps rehabilitate injuries by breaking down restrictive scar tissue caused by daily activities that may be responsible for your dog’s discomfort. It can help to resolve many day to day mobility issues whether they have suddenly come on or have been there for while. Getting your dog therapeutically treated by a Member of the Canine Massage Guild is a must for any dog owner concerned with their dog’s mobility and health. It can help give you answers for what you are seeing with your dog and importantly then do something about it with an hour of hands on therapy. We aim to give your dog results in just 1-3 sessions. It’s also natural form of pain relief that can help to resolve soft tissue or muscular problems and helps support orthopaedic issues like Arthritis and Hip Dysplasia with tangible results. Just see the guild website for testimonials!

The first treatment lasts about 90 minutes and includes a 30 minute consultation. This will include a series of in depth questions to begin to get a picture of you dog and their needs. the questions will include the dogs history, treatment history, diagnosed issues and any indicators you have seen.
Your dogs personality, behaviour and happiness to be handled will also be taken in to account to enable me to give your dog the safest and most beneficial treatment possible.
The consultation will also include a gait analysis, posture analysis and initial palpation. Don't worry if your dog wont or cant do any of these activities. I will adapt to suit their needs and abilities.
After the treatment, I will give you detailed aftercare instructions and recommended course of treatment. No matter what the presenting condition, Canine Massage Guild therapists expect measurable results in between one and three treatments.
Don't worry!
Dogs aren't like humans, they don't always just lie there, but don't panic. I allocate a 45-50 minute treatment to give the dog time to settle and have breaks if needed. Some dogs prefer having their treatment on a table and others prefer to be on the floor. I adapt to the dog!
Rest assured that I am trained to work with dogs across a range of circumstances, environments and behaviours. All Guild members observe high standards of responsible and safe working practices in accordance with established veterinary health and safety standards so you can be confident that your dog is in good hands.
